Art Gallery Reception

Local Artist, Allison Brown, will be featured in a free Solo Art Exhibition titled: “Transcendence” at the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center. The exhibition will run from Monday, August 28 to Friday, October 27, 2023. You can meet the artist at a reception on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 6:00-8:00pm.

Allison Brown has been a local resident of Yucaipa for over twenty years. She has painted numerous murals around town, throughout Southern California, and over the United States. The most familiar local murals include the Golden Thunderbird at Yucaipa High School and the “Pass it on Down” Mural located on California Street. Allison Brown’s art show, “Transcendence,” reflects fine art that she has painted over the last year and recent past. After facing severe health problems in her intimate family, she has channeled the fear, pain and hope that have accompanied this suffering into her art. We can’t wait to see you there!
